About The photographer

The Shooter

I grew up in Detroit, Michigan and have been interested in photography and taking pictures ever since childhood. My interest in photography began when I was really young when I started my sports card collection. I used to look at the pictures and quality of the photos more than the actual sports figures. At the age of 18 I started working at a local drugstore and because of my interest in photography I requested to work in the photo department to learn how to develop and process film and get any knowledge that I could. I loved it and I became one the youngest photo managers there. Years later after leaving that job and starting my career in the electrical field, I still had a passion for photography. 

In 2014 I purchased my first digital camera for vacation photos and just as a hobby, however I noticed that this was something I really loved. It was then I learned I had a obsession with the camera and anything pertaining to a camera. I began to do research on how to better my craft. I took classes, seminars and spoke to tons of professional photographers as well.

One year later I started my photography business and called it 40 Cal Photography.
